Markdown to Asana
Asana added Markdown-style shortcuts that fire while you type, but it does not parse Markdown on paste, so a pasted task description keeps its asterisks and pound signs. This converter turns Markdown into rich text that Asana's editor accepts: bold, italic, strikethrough, links, bullet lists, numbered lists, tables, and quotes. Asana task descriptions have no heading levels, so headings become bold paragraphs rather than vanishing. A plain-text output is included for subtask names and other fields that reject formatting. Everything runs in your browser, with no Asana login, integration, or API token.

What Asana actually supports: pasting into a task, ChatGPT output, checklists as subtasks, the typing-shortcut limits, and AI meeting notes.
