Where each format goes
Jira & Confluence use wiki markup: headings become h1., tables use ||header||, and code fences become {code} macros.
Slack uses mrkdwn: single *bold*, _italic_, and <url|text> links.
Notion keeps Markdown but normalises nesting and spacing so blocks convert cleanly on paste.
Plain text strips all syntax while keeping table rows readable as tab-separated columns.
LinkedIn flattens formatting to arrow bullets and inline links, since posts don't render Markdown.
