Twitter/X Text Formatter

Twitter and X have no built-in text formatting, but you can paste Unicode Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols to make text appear bold, italic, bold italic, script, fraktur, monospace, underlined, and more — in tweets, replies, and your bio. Type your text and every style updates live; click copy and paste it directly into the tweet composer or your X bio. Runs entirely in your browser — free, instant, no signup, no watermark, no usage cap. Important: styled text counts toward the 280-character limit, is not indexed by X search, and is not read correctly by screen-readers, so use it for short attention-grabbing hooks rather than whole tweets.

Make text 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤, u̲n̲d̲e̲r̲l̲i̲n̲e̲d̲ and more for Twitter/X tweets and bios. Type, copy, paste. Free, instant, 100% in your browser.

A few things to know before posting:
  • Counts toward 280 chars: Styled glyphs are multi-byte, so formatted text uses up your character limit faster than it looks.
  • Not indexed by X search: Unicode text won't appear in keyword searches — keep hashtags and searchable terms as plain text.
  • Screen-reader unfriendly: Assistive tech reads these as Unicode names, not styled words. Use sparingly — one or two words max.
  • Old clients may show boxes: Very outdated third-party Twitter clients may not render the glyphs.

How to use bold / fancy text on Twitter/X

  1. Type your tweet text above — all styles update live.
  2. Click Copy on the style you want.
  3. Open Twitter/X and paste into your tweet composer or bio (Ctrl/Cmd + V).
  4. Keep key hashtags and @mentions as plain text so they stay clickable and searchable.

Runs entirely in your browser — your text is never uploaded.
